Pastor Idicheria Babukutty
My Church is One Big Happy Family
Pastor K. Idicheria Babukutty, from the traditional Orthodox Church background, received a heavenly call and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in March 1973. Took water baptism in that June itself and has been anointed by Holy Spirit in February 1980.
Pastor Babukutty is from Kerala, India. After finishing his graduation (B Sc in Chemistry) he was employed with Indian Telephones in 1972. Moved to Dubai in 1977. Employed with Emirates Group, Dubai, held various senior positions in Dubai International Airport – airlines handling. Hired by Emirates International Airlines, Dubai and retired as Ground Operations Procedures Manager in 2012.
Along with his secular job, he was faithful to the Heavenly calling and eager towards the church ministerial activities with the Church of God (full gospel) , Dubai. Servant of God Pr. M Kunjappy dedicated and separated him to lead the church congregations and other pastoral responsibilities in 1984. He had been officially ordained as pastor
in 2002 by Rev. Paul Lauster( former superintendent, Church of God, Middle East and Mediterranean region functioning under COG world mission) and has been issued with pastoral credentials. For more than thirty years, God Almighty enabled him to minister the COG Dubai as pastor and associate pastor. From 2012 he was a General minister in COG, Kerala and now with the identity as ordained Bishop.
He is very keen in learning, meditating and exhorting the word of God and understanding the true and systematic theology.
He is able to guide, teach, preach and expose the word of God for the spiritual enrichment of the audience, as and when applicable. He is a man of prayer, his mission is the propagation of God’s love towards the mankind. He is continuing Lord’s work with outreach ministries to the unsaved world and engaged fully with the pastoral responsibilities to enable the fellow believers to become perfect in Christ Jesus.
